What he means here is that Apple will NOT be supporting technologies such as Adobe Flash on their devices.  Many websites today have this technology to allow for flow and movement and even menus for navigation.  This will hinder potential users from being able to browse your website and even worse, not able to navigate the site at all, when using one of these devices from Apple.
